Track Audio Language

The Audio Language field on your tracks is used to indicate the language in which vocals on the track are sung.  This improves categorization and optimizes discoverability via voice search and algorithmic discovery tools at the music services that support the field.

For instrumental tracks, choose “No linguistic content.”  This is extremely important for music services to identify tracks for “no vocal” voice searches and playlisting.  For tracks that have more than one language, choose the most prevalent language.  If it’s not obvious which language is most prevalent in a multi-language track, choose the most prevalent language on the track’s product or the language most frequently associated with the main artist.

We strongly recommend that you enter an accurate value for every track (including your back catalog).
