2. Compound Artists

2-1 Compound Artists - If more than one artist performs on a product or track, each must be entered separately with its own role.

Note: If multiple artists or groups are inappropriately entered in a single Artist field it prevents individual identification of artists at the music services, which will prevent the products and tracks from populating artist pages correctly.

2-2 Compound Artist Exceptions - Artists who are generally listed together or as a band or group must be listed together and are not considered Compound Artists. Example:

• Simon & Garfunkel
• Brookes & Dunne
• Hootie & The Blowfish
• Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
