PGC stands for Partner Generated Content.

The content type describes how the content was generated.

Content type only has the option of PGC or UGC.

UGC

UGC stands for User Generated Content.

The content type describes how the content was generated.

Content type only has the option of PGC or UGC.

UGC is when a user uploads or uses an "Original Sound" that is matched to a delivered track in our library.

Creations

The number of creations (videos) that use the song. 

Creation quantity holds a much heavier weight than view quantity as an indicator of user interest and engagement.

Views

The number of views of creations that use the song.

 

Comments

The number of comments on creations that use the song. A metric that indicates fan engagement and dialogue around a track. Also a main metric used by social media in general.

Likes

The number of likes on creations that use the song. A metric to help inform focus and direction of marketing efforts.

Shares

The number of shares of creations that use the song. A metric that indicates fan engagement and dialogue around a track. Also a main metric used by social media in general.

Favorites

The number of favorites on creations that use the song. A metric that tends to be based more on the content of the creation itself rather than the music actually being used, so may be less important than comments, likes, and shares metrics.

Average Play Duration

The average time spent (in seconds) viewing creations that use the song. Similar to Favorites, this metric tends to be based more on the content of the creation itself rather than the music actually being used.
